Nogomet

Nogomet, known as soccer or football in many parts of the world, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a spherical ball into the opposing team’s net. Nogomet is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch, which includes a goal at each end. Players predominantly use their feet to move the ball, although they can use any part of their body except their arms and hands (the goalkeeper is an exception).

In an HR context, nogomet may refer to the organization of team-building events, sports activities, or company-sponsored leagues that enhance teamwork and employee engagement. Participation in nogomet can foster collaboration, competitive spirit, and a sense of community amongst employees, contributing positively to workplace morale and culture. Thus, nogomet can be a strategic tool in HR for promoting health, teamwork, and corporate camaraderie.
