Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams, typically composed of six players each, are separated by a net. The objective of the game is to score points by hitting a ball over the net and landing it on the opposing team’s court. Players use their hands and arms to strike the ball in a series of passes, sets, and attacks. Points are scored when the ball touches the ground on the opponent’s side, or when the opposing team fails to return the ball properly. Volleyball can be played indoors or on beaches (beach volleyball), and it emphasizes skills such as serving, passing, setting, and spiking. The game is governed by specific rules regarding court dimensions, net height, and player rotations. Volleyball is both an Olympic and widely popular recreational sport around the world.
